Pickleball PR (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our website visitors, members, and participants. Information We Collect
- Account information: if you create an account to manage your schedule, register for events, or communicate with coaches, we may collect your name, email, phone number, and other registration details.
- Billing information: when you buy a session or membership, we collect your name, email, billing address, phone number, and payment history. Membership payments are entered with and processed by Stripe. Class and session payments are processed by either Stripe or PayPal. We don’t store your full card number or PayPal login.
- Usage data: we automatically collect information about your interactions with our website, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookies.
- Media contributions: if you submit photos or videos to our site, we may store and display them as part of your engagement with our community.
- Class attendance: we keep records of the classes you reserve through our booking system and attend, including your monthly membership class usage.
How We Use Your Information
- Operate and improve our website, scheduling, and membership system.
- Process payments, send receipts, and manage your membership.
- Send you emails about your account and payments, such as receipts, renewal reminders, expiring-card notices, and failed-payment notices (sent by Stripe or PayPal, depending on how you pay).
- Communicate with you about events and updates. If we send newsletters or promotions, each message includes a way to opt out.
- Administer our Notice and Takedown Policy: if someone submits a complaint about content (photos or videos), we investigate and remove infringing media as needed.
- Manage internal operations, including communication with employees, coaches, and our web manager.
Sharing Your Information
We may share your data with:
- Stripe, our payment processor, which handles card payments and sends payment emails on our behalf. We also accept PayPal for class and session payments (not memberships), which processes those payments under Paypal’s own Privacy Statement. Stripe’s use of your data is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
- Employees and trainers, for scheduling and communications.
- Our web manager, for website maintenance and technical support.
- Our booking system provider (Amelia), for scheduling and booking records.
- Authorities, if legally required.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your information while you have an account or membership. After you cancel, we may keep certain records, such as invoices and payment history, for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. Other personal data is deleted on request, as described under Your Rights.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to enhance user experience, track usage patterns, and remember login preferences. You can adjust your browser settings to manage or block cookies, though some site features may not function properly without them.
Photos and Videos at Sessions
We may photograph or film sessions and events and post them on our website and social media, such as Instagram. If you don’t want to appear in photos or videos, tell the staff at the session or email hello@pickleballpr.club, and we will avoid including you or remove you on request.
Media and Content Rights
- You may extract or download media you’ve uploaded or that is publicly available on our site for personal use.
- We operate a Notice and Takedown Policy: if you believe media violates your rights, you can request removal by contacting us at hello@pickleballpr.club.
Your Rights
- You may request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- You may request that your data be removed from our systems, except records we must keep (see How Long We Keep Your Information).
- You may manage your account, schedule, and media through your Player Login.
- You may update your card, view invoices, and cancel your membership through the billing portal link on your invoices and receipts. If you paid for a class or session through PayPal, you manage that payment in your PayPal account or by emailing us.
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Card and PayPal payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal.

Our website may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with the revised effective date.
