Pickleball Tournament Terms & Liability Waiver
By registering for the Pickleball PR San Juan Pickleball Tournament (“the Event”), you agree to the following terms:
Tournament Terms
- Participation is subject to registration and payment.
- The organisers reserve the right to amend the tournament format, schedule, playing groups, or rules where reasonably necessary, including due to weather, player numbers, or operational requirements.
- Players must arrive in good time for scheduled matches. Failure to attend when called may result in forfeiture.
- Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards players, volunteers, officials, and spectators. Unsafe, abusive, or unsporting behaviour may result in disqualification without refund.
- Participants are responsible for using suitable equipment and wearing appropriate clothing and footwear.
- The organisers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or alter the Event due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Health & Safety / Liability Waiver
By participating, you confirm that:
- You are physically able to take part in pickleball activities and understand that participation involves physical activity and an inherent risk of injury.
- You take part at your own risk and accept responsibility for your own health, wellbeing, and personal belongings.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organisers, volunteers, venue providers, and sponsors are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Event.
- You agree to follow any safety instructions or directions given by organisers.
Photography & Media
Photographs or video may be taken during the Event for promotional and community purposes, including social media and the organiser’s website. If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please notify the organisers before the Event.
